Therapy Rehabilitation Manager

Duties: This is a full-time management position which provides leadership of the therapy department, supervises assigned staff, and directs therapy care to the residents of a high profile senior residential facility in the St.​ Louis area.​ In addition to providing direct treatment services in the area of their professional discipline, the Rehab manager will perform various management activities such as, fiscal management, monitoring of staff productivity/​efficiency, program development/​evaluation, staff training, compliance with company policies and procedures and promotion of customer service.​ The Rehab Manager is responsible for the overall administration, clinical planning, development, and operations of the Rehab Program.​ This individual will ensure rehabilitation staff is providing appropriate care to the residents in keeping with established standards for quality, supervise the scheduling of residents for therapy services considering available treatment hours, staff resources and overall plan of care; prepare periodic patient progress reports; and prepare detailed monthly management reports.​   The Rehab Manager also works closely with therapy staff, nursing staff, physicians, facility administrative staff, and patients and their families.​

Qualifications: Current Missouri License in Physical, Occupational or Speech therapy, minimum of three years management experience,  experience managing Medicare Part A and Part B services; strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communications, ability to multitask,

SHOWME AQUATICS & FITNESS IS SEEKING A FULL-TIME OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST!
 
ShowMe Aquatics & Fitness is a non-for-profit organization providing aquatic exercise, therapy, and adapted aquatic services to individuals
with developmental and permanent disabilities.  The position includes evaluation, treatment and consultation with clients. The incumbent
will be responsible for the appropriate documentation as well as communication with family and support staff.  The incumbent will ensure that
the needs of each participant are met with dignity and respect while maintaining a safe environment.  The incumbent should model the
organizational values of MOTION, FUN, CONVENIENCE, SAFETY, TEAMWORK, and RESPECT.  The OT will work with members of the
multi-disciplinary team to develop programs, conduct seminars, mentor students and ensure the outcome of each client’s goals.  The OT
must bring to the position at a degree in a related field and should have experience in aquatics, preferably in aquatic instruction of
various ages. Certification in CPR and First Aid required, with lifeguarding certification preferred. The OT will report to the Aqua Ability
Manager and compensation will be based on experience.
